Summer Lyn turns 4 on July 12

Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful granddaughter Summer Lyn. It is hard to believe that she is turning 4 already. She is such a delightful child , very much into singing and dancing. Her face lites up when she hears music , believe me, when she gets old enough she will be on Broadway.
It is in her blood, her beautiful Mom was a dancer and singer , Country is her style, Summer will find hers.
Have a wonderful Birthday my sweetheart.
We love you and we cant wait to see you.....

Christian's 2nd Birthday

Today is my Grandson's 2.nd Birthday. It only seems like yesterday that I held a 4 day old in my arms , held him and cuddled with him, so he could get some sleep. The little one grew up so fast into this beautiful boy , blue eyes , blond hair and his smile , that everyone that meets him, just falls in love with him.
God bless little Boys....
Love you very much my little Man.....

In Memory of Sandy

It has been a year , that our little Dog went across the Rainbow Bridge.
We miss her very much. There's no day that goes by ,that we are not thinking of her. Little things she used do to , that made us laugh, the way she took her food ( dry dogfood ) in the hallway to eat it of the red carpet.
Layed beside the bed on the floor, like she is protecing us.
Sandy we know you are pain free and happy ,running around with your friend Shy in the garden and enjoying every minute.
One day , when we cross that bridge , we will see eachother and we have a
happy reunion.

Brooke's First Holy Communion

16 May 2009

Our beautiful Grand-Daughter Brooke had her First Holy Communion in Oceanside N.Y.
It was a wonderful day , the sun was shining and everything was just so perfect.
The Church , St. Anthony's is a charming , traditional and modern Church all together. The Priest made the whole Ceremony enjoyable for all the Children and Adults. The First Communion Children all played a part in the Sermons. After they recieved the Holy Communion, they sang a beautiful song.....We are the Children of God....

Trip to Germany

The last couple of months just flew by. The new year started very good. Life was good , Work was good and the weather here in Texas was good. Don and I were planing to go to Germany end of Feb, because of his work , he stayed home. So I went by myself to visit my Sister, Family and Friends. I had a wonderful time , going places , eating at my favorite restaurants and enjoying the sights of my hometown.
Time goes by so fast when you having fun. It was great to see my Girlfriend Heidi. We meet in the Sandbox when we were 5 yrs old , so I call her my sandbox girlfriend. We went from kindergarten , 1. Grade to 8.Grade , our First Communion and Confirmation together. She went on to become a Hairdresser and I went to Business School. After all those years we are still in contact with each other and we have always lots to talk about our lives now and then.
More to come....

SANCTUARY for the SENSES

One of my favorite places in Ft.Worth is the Japanese Garden. We like to spend some time there , strolling on the paths along beautiful flowers and trees. Pure Tranquility . We sit and relax on a park bench , listening to the birds singing. We went there on a sunny Sunday afternoon in November. It was a perfect Day with blue skies. In front of us was walking hand in hand a young couple , very much in love , you could tell. In the Garden is a Pond, were colorful exotic Imperial Carps ( Koi ) lives. Over the Pond is a beautiful wooden bridge. The young couple stopped on top the bridge, Don and I waited at the bottom . A moment later we saw the man go down on his right knee , in his hand he held a little black box. He asked her to marry him ,she screamed , jumped up and down and crying, saying.....YES ...YES... I will marry you. They embraced and kissed. Don and I both had Tears in our eyes, it was so romantic.
We always will remember them when we cross that bridge in the future.

Footprints in the sand

One of my favorite layover is FT.Walton Beach , FL . There you find the most beautiful white sandy beach , looks like powder sugar. I have the pleasure to stay there very often. In the morning , just as the sun is coming up, I stroll along the beach and listen to the waves crashing on shore. It's so peaceful to walk and enjoy mother nature. Sometimes the dolphins swim along the coast looking for their breakfast . I walk and walk , letting the wind blow thru my hair and the sun hitting my Face. On one of those days, I turned around and looked behind me , what did I see?
